Pumping unit process flow
The pumping unit is a type of mechanical equipment used for oil extraction. The kowtow machine, also known as the beam pumping unit, is a traditional pumping equipment widely used in oil fields, usually driven directly by an ordinary AC asynchronous motor. The crank belt uses a counterweight balance block to drive the pumping rod, driving the underground oil pump to perform a fixed cycle of up and down reciprocating motion, and sending the underground oil to the surface.
As an oil pumping equipment, its movement is to repeatedly lift up and down, with one stroke being lifted once. Its power comes from two steel sliding blocks of considerable weight driven by an electric motor. When the sliding blocks are lifted, they act like a lever to send the pumping rod into the well. When the sliding block descends, the pumping rod is lifted to carry oil to the wellhead.
During the sliding block descending process, due to the load reduction, the energy generated by the motor dragging has no place to be released, which is bound to enter the regenerative power generation state, causing the bus voltage of the main circuit to rise. Frequent high-voltage shocks will damage the main components of the inverter, including the electrolytic capacitor and power module. Therefore, the braking circuit is added, so that the regenerative voltage can be released in time, to ensure that the equipment works at a safe voltage.
